The Lord blessed me with an opportunity to show his love while helping with the Go project. At one of the apartments we meet a mom and her 12 yr old daughter. The single mom had been recently laid off her job as a janitor at Sunsplash. She had worked there for 7 years. They were so blessed with our love and gifts that they walked to our Christmas performance the next day. They don't have a car. I was standing in the back holding Lilly when they came in. I was thrilled to see them. Gave them a big hug and helped them find a seat. I found them after church and asked if I could give them a ride home and take them to lunch. So we went to McDonald's and I got to know these precious people. The mom wants to work and asked if I know of anyone that needed any housework or ironing. Ester(mom) doesn't speak much english, so the daughter (Maria) who goes to Buljan interperets. If you saw the movie "Blind Side" I am having a similiar experience as the mom (Sandra Bullock) did with Big Mike. Only I have Little Maria and her mom. I got them some Christmas presents today that I am going to give them tomorrow. In our conversations, I found out that Maria likes to play soccer and basketball, but she has never been on a team. She doesn't know it yet, but I am going to sponsor her to be on a soccer team for 2010. I love soccer and my college age daughter doesn't play now. I will take her to practices and she and her mom to the games. The Lord is just blessing our socks right off! I have so much Joy! This is the true Christmas spirit! And it all started with the "Go project", saying yes to God, taking action and being part of God's movement. Go, Go, Go!!

I am writing this letter to you of how our Merciful and Miraculous God has worked on me and my family over the last year.To go back a little further I have taken an extra step to re-call last year’s thanks giving. It was a real Thanks Giving to God last year for us, since we got our Permanent Residence Status here in the United States.We had prayed for this over a lot of years and as a first time I had personally asked our Men’s group of our Church to pray for this and I still remember that the Men’s group people had prayed for my Status on a Saturday Morning and on Monday when I came to my Office chair and as I opened my Computer System, I had received a mail from our Attorney’s Office that my Status was approved and my Permanent Residence Card would be mailed.

Though it has been really a tough year for many of us with struggle over our finances, I strongly feel that GOD has been speaking to me personally much closer than ever during this year only. I had some great visions which God showed me and it is really a surprise to me that God is working on me these days.I have never been an active participant all these years in the Church and only recently that is almost a year I have participated so much in Church activities.The next which I like about GOD’S work in my Life was the GO Project that we do every month. Not only are we blessing the community but in turn God is blessing us in a lot of ways. I am so happy to say that I have never missed a GO project, due to the fact it has always been a blessing to my family and me.

If I have to say about the financial crisis yes this year even I was affected on my Salary side with a major cut on my Salary, but God never let me down at any given point of time.Tithe was never a part of me till I understood what was the real commandment of God to his people about 1/10^th of the First. I always felt that giving back to God was humiliating him coz he was the person who has given us all these to enjoy. But as I had mentioned earlier when I started to give to God with no compulsion God also gave back to me with no limits. He has poured his blessings over my family and me by opening the doors of heaven.

I would really like to talk about the small groups that we had over the 7 weeks series. I never imagined even in the corner of my heart that God wanted us to lead a group and open our doors for prayer every week.Well it all started one day at work when Pastor Aaron called me and said that Pastor Julian wanted us to lead a small group. Well I was taken by Surprise and wanted to say a big NO right away to Pastor Aaron, but something stopped me and I had mentioned to Pastor Aaron that I will speak to my wife and get back to him the next day. That evening when I spoke about this to my wife she was willing to open the doors for prayer right away.  The next day I spoke to Pastor Aaron about this and till today I am not sure how God was so instrumental in using me to lead a small group like that.The group that we had was amazing and the 7 weeks just passed in a flash of an eye. The prayer request that we prayed over at the small group, most of them were answered and personally in our Life we saw God working on us tremendously.

Our Church is a mixture of cultures but a place of true believers. When people 2 or more people pray in him name, God is there to answer our prayers.
